(260304) -- BEIRUT, March 4, 2026 (Xinhua) -- People carry out search and rescue operations after Israeli airstrikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon, March 4, 2026. At least 11 people were killed and 23 others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas in Lebanon on Wednesday, according to Lebanese official sources. Lebanon's Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Public Health, said that airstrikes on Aramoun and Saadiyat, south of Beirut, killed six people and wounded eight others, while rescue teams continued to search through the rubble at some of the targeted locations.
