Restauration experts work on the 8th Century Mshatta Facade in the Islamic Art section as renovation work continues at the Pergamon Museum, in Berlin on December 4, 2025. With the first construction phase completed, the Collection of Classical Antiquities, Museum of Islamic Art, and Museum of the Ancient Near East are expected to reopen to the public  in spring 2027.
