(260921) -- GUANGZHOU, Sept. 21, 2026 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on Sept. 21, 2026 shows a scene at the site of a textile factory fire in Shunde District of Foshan, south China's Guangdong Province. Eight people were killed and one was injured after a fire broke out Sunday at a textile factory in Foshan City, south China's Guangdong Province, local authorities said Monday. The fire was reported at 3:12 p.m. Sunday at a factory in Changxing industrial park in Jun'an Township, Shunde District in Foshan. Firefighters brought the blaze under control at 3:45 p.m. and extinguished visible flames by 4:10 p.m., according to Shunde's emergency management department. (Xinhua/Lu Hanxin)
