Paramedics wait for the arrival of victims being rushed to a hospital in Beirut following a series of Israeli airstrikes that targeted several areas in the Lebanese capital and its outskirts on April 8, 2026. Israel launched a series of strikes in Beirut, causing panic among residents in the most violent attack on the capital since the start of the war with Hezbollah.
