Keetmanshoop’s Extension 6 informal settlement to be electrified

KEETMANSHOOP, 07 NOV (NAMPA) – The Keetmanshoop Municipality will as of the end of November this year, electrify 220 erven in Extension 6 informal settlement at the southern town.
The project to run until March 2020 will cost the municipality N.dollars 3.4 million and Adenco Construction Namibia Pty Ltd was awarded the tender.
Municipality Public Relations Officer (PRO), Dawn Kruger told Nampa on Wednesday that there are 260 erven at the informal settlement of which 40 are already electrified.
