EVMs kicked out in Opuwo-Otjiwarongo by-elections

WINDHOEK, 14 FEB (NAMPA) – Political parties and the leadership of the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) reached a consensus on Friday to do away with Electoral Voting Machines (EVMs) in the upcoming Opuwo Rural Constituency and Otjiwarongo Constituency by-elections.
Instead, traditional ballot papers will be used to decide the fate of the two constituencies, whose respective by-elections are set for 09 March 2020.
