NAMAs nomination launch and Independence Concert called off

WINDHOEK, 15 MAR (NAMPA) – The organisers of the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMAs) nomination launch and the 30th Independence Concert on Saturday announced the cancellation of the two major entertainment events amidst the revelation of two confirmed cases of the oronavirus (COVID-19) in Namibia.
The NAMAs nomination launch was scheduled to take place on 27 March at the National Theatre of Namibia and the independence concert on 21 March at the Hage Geingob Stadium in the capital.
