Keetmanshoop Municipality introduces social tariff for low income residents

KEETMANSHOOP, 18 MAR (NAMPA) - The Keetmanshoop Municipality has introduced a new residential social tariff up to 15 Amps for low income residential customers, the municipality's Chief Executive Officer, Desmond Basson, has said.
The new tariff was approved by the Electricity Control Board and all low-income residential customers with an electricity requirement of 15 Amps and less can apply for the new tariff through the municipality’s Electricity Department offices.
