Westair retrenches 60 due to COVID-19

WINDHOEK, 25 MAR (NAMPA) – Barely nine months after Westair Aviation was given the greenlight to become a scheduled passenger airline in Namibia, it is sending 60 employees home due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The pandemic has been wreaking havoc on the aviation industry across the globe.
