Farmworker gets two life sentences for brutal murders

WINDHOEK, 16 JUL (NAMPA) - A farmworker who admitted in the High Court to killing two people in the Rehoboth District in May 2019, was on Thursday sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment.
On 13 July this year, the 32-year-old Lukas Kashonga was found guilty by High Court Judge Orben Sibeya on two counts of murder with direct intent to kill and on a third charge of housebreaking with the intent to steal and theft, after he pleaded guilty to the charges.
