Mozambique to organise SADC 40th Ordinary Summit of the Heads of States

KHORIXAS, 05 AUG (NAMPA) –The Republic of Mozambique will organise the 40th Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Governments of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), which will be held virtually for the first time, a media statement availed to Nampa on Wednesday reads.
The summit, with a reduced agenda, will be held between 10 and 17 August in view of the challenges posed by the Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, and will focus on the handover of the region's chairpersonship.
