Minnaar a modern day female revolutionary: Swartbooi

KEETMANSHOOP, 11 AUG (NAMPA) – Landless People’s Movement (LPM) leader, Bernadus Swartbooi has described the late Maxie Minnaar as a symbol of a modern day female revolutionary, a political tactician and humble person.
Politically, he said Minnaar was ruthless and quietly radical, yet religious and accommodative of others’ ideas within the party.
Keetmanshoop Urban Constituency Councillor, Minnaar died aged 47 on Monday at a hospital in Windhoek after a short illness.
