Windhoek trial-awaiting prisoner escapes from court premises

WINDHOEK, 21 FEB (NAMPA) – A Windhoek trial-awaiting prisoner allegedly escaped from the Katutura Magistrate’s Court whilst being escorted for the criminal process to go apply for legal aid on Friday.
The Namibian Police Force in its weekend crime report availed here on Sunday said the suspect allegedly ran away from the escorting officer, went out of the court premises via the backyard entrance, and disappeared into the riverbed.
