1 (LAGOS, May 2 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria's road safety police today confirmed at least eight people were killed in a fatal accident in the southwest state of Osun.

Thirty-six others were injured following the accident on Saturday along the Osogbo-Gbongan expressway in the state, said Kudirat Ibrahim, a commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in a statement reaching Xinhua today.
