NANTU slams demand of teachers’ removal at Ongongo PS

OPUWO, 22 SEP (NAMPA) – The Namibia National Teachers Union (NANTU) has denounced recent demands by Ongongo Primary School parents for the removal of the school’s principal and a fellow teacher on allegations of incompetence, theft and selling alcoholic beverages on school grounds.
This follows a peaceful demonstration by concerned parents last week where they called on the education directorate to remove or dismiss the pair on the allegations levelled against them.
