Omaheke Top 8 tourney set for weekend in Gobabis

OPUWO, 23 SEP (NAMPA) – The ninth edition of the annual Omaheke Top 8 football and netball tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Legare Stadium in Gobabis.
The tournament is organised each year by the Epukiro Sports Council and was initiated with the aim of grooming and developing sports within the Omaheke Region and is strictly for teams hailing from Omaheke, according to the council’s spokesperson Kuveri Tjonga.
