Government directs granting of citizenship to genocide victims' descendants

WINDHOEK, 26 NOV (NAMPA) – The Namibian government has directed the Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security to implement the proposal of giving citizenship to descendants of the 1904 to 1908 genocide victims who wish to return from Botswana and other countries.
