Ausiku welcomes reopening of Angola/Namibia borders

RUNDU 27 JAN ( NAMPA) - Kavango West Governor, Sirkka Ausiku, has welcomed the re-opening of the Oshikango-Santa Clara and Katwitwi borders, stating that they play a major role in the informal trade sector between Namibia and Angola.
On Monday the governments of the two countries agreed to open the borders on 01 February this year, while the remaining border posts will be reopened on 15 February.
