Ministry of Education attributes poor results to Covid-19

WINDHOEK, 20 JAN (NAMPA) - The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture has attributed the poor 2022 examination results to the significant loss of face-to-face teaching and learning time at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Only 8 133 pupils, representing 24 per cent, qualified for tertiary education from the 38 019 candidates who sat for the 2022 Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary Level and Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Advanced Subsidiary level examinations.
