1 (TEHRAN, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Iran has appointed Alireza Enayati, a veteran diplomat, as its ambassador to Saudi Arabia, semi-official Fars news agency reported on Monday night.

Enayati used to serve as the Iranian ambassador to Kuwait, foreign minister aide, and a director-general at the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
