IN THE UNITED STATES
The S&P 500 Index opened at 4,156.16 points, up 4.88 points, or 0.12 percent.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened at 32,795.50 points, up 30.85 points, or 0.09 percent.
The Nasdaq Composite Index opened at 12,736.42 points, up 38.33 points, or 0.30 percent.
IN EUROPE
