1 (Baku, Sept 19, 2023 (AFP) - Azerbaijan on Tuesday launched a military operation against the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh region, warning it would 'continue until the end' in the territory, over which it has fought two wars with neighbouring Armenia.
The latest flare-up in violence came as Russia, the traditional power broker in the region, was bogged down in a conflict in Ukraine.
