Last gasp penalty propels Namibia to victory
Written by Kondjeni Ambinga on 10 June 2019.WINDHOEK, 10 JUN (NAMPA) – Cliven Loubser scored a last minute penalty to propel Namibia to a 30-28 victory over World Rugby Nations Cup hosts Uruguay on Saturday.
Namibia were the first to strike when Loubser scored a penalty in the 10th minute, before Jaco Venter touched down for the first try of the match.
Loubser converted the resultant kick to make it 10-0 for Namibia with 21 minutes played.
