UPDATE: KHOMAS AND ERONGO LOCKED DOWN TO PREVENT COVID-19 SPREAD

WINDHOEK, 24 MAR (NAMPA) – President Hage Geingob has declared a lockdown for the Khomas and Erongo regions from 27 March to 16 April 2020 to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
At a briefing at State House on Tuesday, Geingob also announced the lockdown of all Namibian entry points, which means no one can come into the country or leave the country for 30 days, unless in cases of emergency, and for the facilitation of goods and services.
