WINDHOEK, 24 NOV (NAMPA) – Namibia has vaccinated 55 per cent of a targeted elderly population, while 49.8 per cent of the target population of people with comorbidities have also gotten their jabs, latest data from the Ministry of Health and Social Services shows.
The ministry is targeting to vaccinate about 93 063 elderly people and by Monday, 22 November 2021, 51 381 (translating to 55.2 per cent) persons above the age of 60 had taken their jab.
