Hippos stranded in drying stream in Salambala conservancy

KATIMA MULILO, 12 JUN (NAMPA) – Hundreds of hippopotamuses, along with their calves, are stuck in a muddy stream in the Salambala Conservancy in the Zambezi Region.
The Lungala stream, which has historically been home to the hippos, is drying up due to drought in the region.
