WINDHOEK, 19 JUN (NAMPA) – Government has allocated N.dollars 825 million to its drought relief intervention, resulting in a funding gap of N.dollars 482 million, Deputy Prime Minister, John Mutorwa has said.
Namibia has declared a national state of emergency due to the severe drought conditions. Mutorwa said that an estimated N.dollars 1.307 billion is needed for the drought relief programme.
