MAWLF vaccinates over 120 000 cattle for FMD

OTJIWARONGO, 26 JUL (NAMPA) – These Karakul sheep have attracted the attention of Otjozondjupa Regional Lands and Resettlement Deputy Director, Ndiyakupi Nghituwamata (left), Special Advisor to Otjozondjupa Regional Governor Rosalia Mwashekele-Sibiya (second left), and Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands and Resettlement Esther Lusepani (third left) amongst others at a Farmers’ Day held on Saturday at the Paresis Sports Stadium in Otjiwarongo. The Ministry of Lands and Resettlement on Saturday brought together more than 100 farmers it has resettled on Government farms in Otjozondjupa Region to exhibit their best produce and livestock as a way of marketing themselves. OSHAKATI, 08 JUL (NAMPA) - Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform Executive Director, Ndiyakupi Nghituwamata, has said a total of 121 079 cattle have been vaccinated against Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) during the current financial year.
