Nganate commends government's efforts to assist drought-stricken farmers in Omaheke

WINDHOEK, 19 AUG (NAMPA) - The Omaheke Region is among the regions most affected by the severe drought impacting Namibia.
Regional Governor Pijoo Nganate however said the eastern region is managing the drought well, thanks to the assistance provided by the central government.
During his State of the Region Address in Gobabis on Monday, Nganate stated that the livestock-rearing region is currently facing drought for the second consecutive year.
