SWAKOPMUND, 21 AUG (NAMPA) – A defence witness in the Jandre Dippenaar pre-sentencing hearing has called for a suspended prison sentence, arguing that he has shown remorse for his crime.
Dr Willem Annandale, the clinical psychologist who assessed Dippenaar after his murder conviction two months ago, in his testimony told the court he is a first-time offender who did not premeditate his crimes and hence not deserve a harsh sentence.
