WINDHOEK, 21 AUG (NAMPA) – The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism on Wednesday announced that hippos that were stranded in a mud-filled pond in the Salambala Conservancy, have been rescued.
A statement released by ministry spokesperson Romeo Muyunda said the pond dried up as a result of the ongoing drought.
