8 schools receive bomb threat in India's Tamil Nadu

NEW DELHI, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- At least eight schools in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu Thursday received a bomb threat, prompting authorities to rush police teams and bomb disposal squads to these educational institutions, officials said. The threats received over emails were sent to schools in Tiruchirappalli district, about 333 km southwest of Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu.
