Berlin (dpa) - Chancellor Olaf Scholz has reaffirmed that checks at German borders are to be continued for as long as possible. "We will do this for as long as it takes. And that will be a very long time," Scholz stated in a special programme on the TV station RTL, which was set to air on Tuesday evening.
