WINDHOEK, 09 OCT (NAMPA) – The 20th edition of the Nedbank Desert Dash, the world’s longest single-staged mountain bike race was officially launched here on Tuesday, with the race kilometres (km) being increased from 397km to 401km.
The Nedbank Desert Dash is a mountain bike race that gives riders 24 hours to ride from Windhoek to Swakopmund across the world’s oldest desert, the Namib Desert.
