Rome (dpa-AFX) - Consumer price inflation in Italy fell in September to the lowest level for nine months amid a drop in energy costs, the statistical office said on Wednesday. Confirming an initial estimate from September 30, the agency said consumer price inflation slowed to 0.7% for the month, down from 1.1% in August and the lowest since a 0.6% rise in December 2023.
