Two arrested in connection with housebreaking at Zigizi village

NKURENKURU, 18 OCT (NAMPA) - Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a housebreaking incident at Zigizi village in the Kavango West Region on Thursday.
According to a Namibian Police Force (NamPol) crime report issued on Friday, the incident occurred between midnight and 01h00 and two suspects aged 21 and 23 have been arrested.
Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga said the suspects allegedly used an unknown object to gain entry to the house and steal items valued at N.dollars 2 907.50, including shoes, food items and toiletries and N.dollars 450 in cash.
The police further said the items have been recovered and investigations continue.
