China's overnight Shibor interbank rate increases Friday

BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor), which measures the borrowing cost of China's interbank market, increased 14.2 basis points to 1.461 percent Friday. The seven-day rate rose 9 basis points to 1.645 percent, the one-month rate edged down 0.4 basis points to 1.799 percent, and the one-year rate dropped 0.5 basis points to 1.92 percent.
