Ex-Mexico captain Guardado announces retirement

MEXICO CITY, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Veteran Leon midfielder Andres Guardado said Thursday that he will retire at the end of the Liga MX season after a professional career spanning 19 years. The 38-year-old former Mexico captain will make his last appearance in Leon's away clash against Monterrey on Sunday. "I'll get straight to the point.
