Spain trade gap narrows in September

Madrid (dpa-AFX) - Spain's foreign trade deficit decreased in September from a year ago, as exports grew faster than imports, preliminary data from the Economy Ministry showed on Monday. The trade deficit dropped to ?3.3 billion ($3.5 billion) in September from ?3.8 billion in the corresponding month last year. In August, there was a shortfall of ?4.8 billion.
