WINDHOEK, 28 NOV (NAMPA) - Cabinet has agreed to reduce the Horse Mackerel Total Allowable Catch (TAC) to 208 000 Metric Tonnes (MT) for the 2025 fishing season.
The total allowable catch was dropped from 270 000 MT.
A statement read by the Minister of Information Communication and Technology (MICT), Emma Theofelus in Windhoek on Thursday, said Cabinet agreed for the Horse Mackerel quota to be put at 208 000, which indicates a decline.
