SWAKOPMUND, 12 DEC (NAMPA) – Close to 100 road crashes, 226 injuries, and 13 fatalities were recorded between 01 January 2023 and 31 December 2023 in the Erongo Region.
Meanwhile 91 crashes, 227 injuries, and 11 fatalities occurred during the period from 01 January to 10 December 2024.
These statistics according to Namibian Police Commander in the Erongo Region, Commissioner Nikolaus Kupembona, are alarming and concerning.
