London (PA Media/dpa) - The United Kingdom has had "diplomatic contact" with the rebel group that toppled Bashar al-Assad's regime, Foreign Secretary David Lammy said as he announced £50 million ($63.1 million) of aid for vulnerable Syrians across the Middle East.
