Berlin (dpa) - Cross-party agreement in Germany's parliament has released ?2.7 billion ($2.8 billion) for upgrades at state-owned railway Deutsche Bahn, which has been struggling with ageing infrastructure and chronic delays. The added money, which was approved by the lower house of Germany's parliament on Wednesday, gives Deutsche Bahn the funding to continue a series of refurbishment projects on major high-speed rail corridors in the country.
