After lowering interest rates three times, the US Federal Reserve is now "significantly closer" to the point where no further cuts will be needed, Chair Jerome Powell said Wednesday. Powell, speaking at a news conference after the Fed reduced interest rates by a quarter point, said the central bank was now much closer to the "neutral rate" where inflation is adequately mitigated and Fed policies no longer need to be designed to speed or slow grow......
