'Numerous' people injured at German Christmas market, city says

Magdeburg, Germany (dpa) - A spokesman for the German city of Magdeburg says there were "numerous" people injured by a car that drove into a crowd at the local Christmas market on Friday evening. "The fire brigade and the police are on site and are caring for the injured," city spokesman Marcel Reif said. "The images are terrible. As far as I know, a car drove into the Christmas market visitors - but I cannot yet say from which direction and how......
