Leverkusen renew with Hincapie but no Wirtz extension yet

Berlin (dpa) - Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have announced that Piero Hancapie's contract has been renewed by two years until 2029 while CEO Fernando Carro dismissed reports that star player Florian Wirtz has signed a similar extension. Carro told Sky TV ahead of Saturday's game against Freiburg that there is no agreement yet with the 21-year-old German international, dismissing a report from Kicker sports magazine that Wirtz had renewed......
