1st Qatari aid plane arrives in Syria's Damascus

DOHA, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- The first Qatari direct aid flight arrived Monday at Damascus International Airport, Qatar's Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The aircraft carried humanitarian aid including ambulances, medicines, and food supplies, as well as technical assistance to support the resumption of the Syrian airport, all provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, the statement said.
