Indian gov't extends fertilizer subsidy to farmers, agrees to export rice to Indonesia

NEW DELHI, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Indian government on Wednesday extended the subsidy on Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer beyond the Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) till further orders, in a bid to ensure sustainable availability of DAP at affordable prices to farmers.
