Italy said on Thursday that Iran has summoned its ambassador over the detention of an Italian journalist in Tehran two weeks ago. Ambassador Paola Amadei "was summoned to the foreign ministry in Tehran", Italy's Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said in televised comments. Earlier Italy said it had summoned the Iranian envoy over the detention of Cecilia Sala, 29, who was arrested on December 19 in Tehran. glr/yad/rlp ...
