MOSCOW, January 3 (Sputnik) - Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa has confirmed the appointment of a new interim vice president, Sariha Moya, amid a conflict with his incumbent vice president, Veronica Abad, the Primicias news portal reported. Noboa signed a decree appointing Moya as vice president of the country until January 22, 2025, or until Veronica Abad arrives at the diplomatic mission of Ecuador in Turkey, the report said on Thursday.
